Updated September 14, 2026 · 5 min readDigital size and printed size are different
A digital file is measured in pixels and file size. A printed photo is measured in inches or millimetres. Always choose the document and country before preparing the crop.
- Do not stretch a small image
- Download the single JPEG for online use
- Use the labelled sheet for printing
Protect the prepared print layout
When ordering from a retailer, upload the complete 4 × 6 sheet and disable automatic zoom, fill or crop if the provider offers those choices.
For home printing, select Actual Size or 100% and check the measurement guide before cutting.
